Hello all,
A week has passed since you waved us off from school. The week has gone fast, I reckon it is because we have been going non-stop since we arrived. Breakfast this morning was at 7.15am....I welcomed a lie in! It was a quick start as usual, we ate breakfast and were in the minibus by 7.45 and were off to coach. There isn't a much better felling than arriving and getting an amazing welcome from all the children.
At the beginning of this trip I found refereeing hard and stressful, but over the past few days I have changed my view on this and now really enjoy helping and teaching them.
Both of the schools I went to today were full of loads of kind children who were extremely welcoming. The rest of the day was spent preparing for our second tournament of the trip. I can't wait for what is still to come but have loved every moment of it so far.
Thanks for reading my blog and if my family are reading this then please say hi to Poppy (my dog 😄).

Today we had an early start, the first school we went to the children were not allowed out of class. The second school was lovely and the children were scoring a try every minute. After that we came back to the camp to organise everything for the tournaments, that everyone is excited for.
It is amazing how much we have managed to gather in terms of donations and prizes. I am sure every single one of the schools tomorrow are going to be incredibly grateful and polite like they always are. In fact everyone is so grateful of our school that Mr Horrod managed to be on Zambia's National TV News Channel, just like a celebrity! 👍
